Meet The Host and Producers
Darren Gruner, owner of KentuckyBlue.com, has been hosting Turf’s Up since it first broadcast in June 2011. Darren’s innovative designs and unbridled love for landscaping has helped KentuckyBlue.com thrive and grow like a well-manicured lawn. He’s designed and built everything from backyard pools and waterfalls to patios with outdoor kitchens, retaining walls and driveways. Many of his designs have been showcased on the cover of local, regional and national magazines. His one of a kind lawn care program has set a true benchmark keeping his clients lawn looking beautiful and budget in check, all while protecting the environment. Now Darren is sharing his knowledge and experience with you, very Saturday morning at 9 a.m.on Turfs Up!
(Producer) Kweku Sapara-Grant is a history major at Rider University. His hobbies include writing, rapping, reading comics and playing on Rider’s Club Ultimate Frisbee Team: The Rider Rangers. He’s fan of all music (except Country music. ANYTHING BUT COUNTRY MUSIC!), but his favorite bands are Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, and the Wombats along with his favorite rappers: 2 Chainz, Kanye West, Juicy J, and Riff Raff. Along with hosting Dark and Darker, he and Justin Rodney also produce Turf’s Up, Saturdays at 9 a.m. “Dark and Darker: Saving the universe one awkward conversation at a time! (Producer) Justin Rodney is pursuing his Journalism Bachelor’s degree with a Radio & Television Minor. He is the co-host and producer of Turf’s Up, Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Dark and Darker at 107.7 The Bronc. According to Justin, Dark and Darker is the greatest show in the galaxy.
