Rider competes in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Association (M.A.C.H.A.) North division along with Temple, Saint Joseph’s, Rowan, Penn State, and Monmouth.


A recent graduate of Rider University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media: Film, Television & Radio and an Associate’s Degree in the Business of Sports, Bob Giaquinto continues to donate hit time at 107.7 The Bronc teaching students how to succeed in broadcasting.

Now in his second year on the Rider Ice Hockey broadcast team, Bob is also the promotions assistant at Greater Media New Jersey’s Magic 98.3 FM and 1450 WCTC-AM. Bob has been a life-long fan of all-four Philadelphia sports team and is a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Flyers.

093014_WRRC_119A huge Capitals fan, yes Capitals fan, who has only been to Washington, D.C. to visit, Alan lives and breathes hockey. His favorite player in the NHL is Alex Ovechkin, Right wing for who else? The Washington Capitals. Because of his passion for the Caps, Alan really, really, really dislikes when Flyers, Rangers and Devils fans bash his team. He gets just a little defensive.

Alan spends his free time streaming Netflix and watching and listening to as much sports he can. He likes to hang out with friends, play Xbox, and listen to music. Now he’s the color analyst for the Lawrence Flames on The Bronc.

032415_WRRC_020Andrew Zayicek is a Radio, Television and Film major who first semester announced color commentating for the Rider University Mens Ice Hockey team. He had the opportunity to interview the ice hockey team between periods and the coach before each game. He is also involved with RUN TV where he works on a show called Rider Sports Spot.Andrew works for Bronc Vision where he films Sports games in the Alumni Gym. He is the co-host on his radio show called Football Talk which is on The Bronc every Tuesday at 7:30pm. Andrew also has a new radio show called Sunday Mass which airs every Sunday at 8p.m. He enjoys all sports especially hockey, soccer and baseball and hopes to get a well paying job so he can travel the around the world after he gets his degree in 2018.
