Rider Baseball is back on The Bronc for another grand slam season!

We will be broadcasting all home games beginning April 11. The complete schedule of games can be found here.

Coach Barry Davis is hoping to reach the NCAA Tournament as champion of the MAAC with the help of a few of his key players including Greg Fazio, Kurt Sowa, Justin Thomas, and Nick Richter. 

This year’s broadcast team will have Tom Reagan as the play-by-play announcer, Carlos Toro as the color analyst, and Andrew Zayicek as the pregame host and dugout reporter. Together, they will broadcast live from Sonny Pittaro Field.

Rider Baseball Broadcast Team

Carlos is a Journalism major at Rider University. He is a huge sports fan and the Sports Director of The Bronc. He loves the whole family of The Bronc, which is a big reason why he goes to the station everyday. When he is not in the station, he is either watching WWE wrestling, playing video games, or writing for the Radio News.



032415_WRRC_027Thomas is currently the Sports Editor of The Rider News, where he writes original articles and edits other writers’ work. He is actively involved on Rider’s campus with intramural sports, as wells as serving as a co-host of the radio show, Around the League. Thomas is a huge fan of the MLB, NFL and NBA, and his favorite teams include the Yankees, New York Giants and the Knicks. Thomas has a deep knowledge of the game of baseball, as he was once a player and later a Little League Baseball coach.

032415_WRRC_020Andrew is a Radio, Television and Film major who first semester announced color commentating for the Rider University Mens Ice Hockey team. He had the opportunity to interview the ice hockey team between periods and the coach before each game. He is also involved with RUN TV where he works on a show called Rider Sports Spot. Andrew works for Bronc Vision where he films Sports games in the Alumni Gym. He is the co-host on his radio show called Football Talk which is on The Bronc every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. He enjoys all sports especially hockey, soccer and baseball and hopes to get a well paying job so he can travel the around the world after he gets his degree in 2018.
