Rider Baseball is back on The Bronc for another grand slam season!

We will be broadcasting all home games beginning March 29. The complete schedule of games can be found here.

Coach Barry Davis is hoping to reach the NCAA Tournament as champion of the MAAC with the help of a few of his key players including Greg Fazio, Kurt Sowa, Justin Thomas, and Nick Richter.

This year’s broadcast team will have Carlos Toro as the play-by-play announcer, Brandon Scalea as the color analyst, and Thomas Albano as the pregame host and dugout reporter. Together, they will broadcast live from Sonny Pittaro Field.

You and your family can enjoy the game on the go on 107.7 FM, at the office on www.1077TheBronc.com or anywhere on your tablet or mobile device on our free Android and iOS apps.

Rider Baseball Broadcast Team

Carlos is a Journalism major at Rider University. He is a huge sports fan and the Sports Director of The Bronc. He loves the whole family of The Bronc, which is a big reason why he goes to the station everyday. When he is not in the station, he is either watching WWE wrestling, playing video games, or writing for the Radio News.

090215_WRRC_073A native of Marlboro, NJ, Brandon is a journalism major at Rider. He has a true passion and love for sports. Along with being the voice of the Lawrence Flames, he works as the sports editor for The Rider News. He’s a big fan of college football, tending to hop on the bandwagon of the Alabama Crimson Tide every year. He also loves his New Jersey Devils, and hates the Rangers almost as much.

When he’s not getting angry at the Devils and tweeting about it, he’s probably eating, doing homework, or watching Friday Night Lights (again) on Netflix.
041916_WRRC_015Thomas (known around the station as “DJ TJ”) is a journalism major from Staten Island, New York, and he is a lover of all things sports, especially baseball. His TV rarely ever leaves a sports network. Some of his posts on his A View from the Cheap Seats blog have been promoted by MLB.com! A sports editor at The Rider News for nearly two years, he is currently its in-depth editor, writing important (and sometimes controversial) stories. He is also a writer for New York Rangers hockey on Faceoffviolation.com’s Black and Blueshirts. Tom is the host of a sports talk show, A View from the Cheap Seats, Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. and the co-host of The Sunday Shibby Shack, which airs Sundays from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. In addition, he’s the vice president of Rider’s chapter of the Lambda Pi Eta communications honor society — so he’s a pretty busy guy! Upon graduation, Tom looks to get his master’s degree and one day be a sports commentator, sports show host or have his own sports column. When not busy at The Bronc or Rider News, Tom enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends, watching sports and, of course, writing.
