Buckle your seatbelt Rider and get ready for 107.7 The Bronc to start your engine!

Cruisin’ From Commencement is back for another test drive. This year, Rider University’s Class of 2020 will have the chance to drive to Commencement in a brand new, 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE.

All Rider University graduating undergraduate and graduate students, who are eligible to walk at Commencement on May 15 or 16, 2020, are qualified to win the first-ever Corolla Hybrid in the U.S.

It’s easy to enter The Bronc’s Cruisin’ From Commencement contest. All you have to do is create an original, two-and-a-half-minute video detailing all of the amazing experiences you’ve had while attending Rider University. When you’re finished, upload your video to YouTube and send us the link, along with a completed entry form. Entries are being accepted now through Sunday, May 10, 2020.

When producing your Cruisin’ From Commencement video, choose a theme based on one or more of the following topics:

  • Student/Faculty collaboration or mentorship
  • Development as a leader
  • Involvement in the Rider Community
  • Internship and professional experiences
  • The arts at Rider
  • Global and cultural experiences
  • Community service and service-learning

All music used in your video must be original or royalty-free. If you don’t have access to original or royalty-free music, you can use The Bronc’s official, licensed music library for your Cruisin’ From Commencement entry. Each video submitted will be scored by a panel of qualified judges. The Cruisin’ From Commencement Finale will take place on-campus before Rider’s 155th undergraduate Commencement at approximately 10:30 a.m. next to the SRC.

Each student whose entry makes the Cruisin’ From Commencement Top 10 will receive a key to the grand prize: a two-year lease to a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE, plus two-year’s ToyotaCare – vehicle maintenance and roadside assistance plan courtesy of Team Toyota of Princeton. The Rider student with the highest scoring video will have the only key to start the car!

Runners-up prizes include your graduation party catered by Killarney’s Publick House in Hamilton. Second place – $1000; third place – $500; fourth place – $250; fifth place – $250 in catering from Killarney’s Publick House.
