Meet The Broadcast Team
Matthew Maratea ’19
Matthew Maratea is the Sports Director at 107.7 The Bronc. He is also the Copy Director for the station. He is a senior, graduating in May 2019. He is majoring in Sports Media with a minor in History. His hobbies include writing, podcasting, reading and playing hockey. His talents include a knack for memorizing sports stats and incredible but irrelevant movie facts and lines.
Michael Ricchione ’21
Mike Ricchione is a Sports Media major and Sports Studies minor hailing from Carle Place, New York. His duties at 107.7 The Bronc include Traffic Director, Color Analyst of Lawrence Cardinals Baseball and Host of Rounding the Bases a weekly MLB Talk Show. He also covers Rider Wrestling for The Rider News and is a contributor for Guys Being Dudes. When he’s not at the station, Ricchione can be seen watching all sports but especially Baseball and Hockey. He’s also loves attending Rider Men’s and Women’s Basketball games. Fun Fact: Before Rider, Ricchione was a three-sport athlete. In Football, he had 2.5 sacks in his senior season as a reserve. In wrestling, he was a one-time Nassau County D2 Qualifier. In Baseball, as a three-year varsity player, he batted .444
