Ryan is majoring in Sports Media. Ryan’s favorite sport is football and his teams are the New York Giants for football and the New York Yankees for baseball. Back in high school, Ryan was the sports anchor and sports producer for his school’s TV show.
Mike Ricchione ’21
Mike Ricchione is a Sports Media major with a minor in Sports Studies. In his three years playing Varsity Baseball, Mike batted .444. That’s four hits in nine at-bats however, as he didn’t see much time playing for his High School team, the Carle Place Frogs. This season, Mike makes his transition to the broadcast booth following the likes of Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling, except a lot sooner. In addition to his broadcasting duties at 107.7 The Bronc, Mike also serves as the Traffic Director and hosts a weekly MLB Talk Show, Rounding the Bases. Mike also covers Rider Wrestling for The Rider News and is a contributor for Guys Being Dudes. When he isn’t in the studio, he’s in his dorm watching his favorite baseball teams the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays or just watching the San Diego Padres to hear his favorite baseball announcer, Don Orsillo.
