Hopefully everyone enjoyed the Halloween weekend! It is time once again to see what 107.7 The Bronc (the Best College Radio Station in New Jersey for 2016 according to the NJBA) has in store for the upcoming weeks!

Starting on November 5th, Launch-A-Bronc is back to kick off Family Weekend here at Rider University! The Bronc is teaming up with Rider Athletics in order to spread awareness for Rider’s Relay For Life event while providing post-game fun for the whole family. In order to be a part of Launch-A-Bronc, all you have to do is attend any Rider Men’s or Women’s Basketball home games at the Alumni Gym and look out for a Bronc DJ selling mini-basketballs. It’s 1 ball for $1, 7 balls for $5, and 12 balls for $10 with a free t-shirt. After each game, shoot the balls into the hoops to win awesome prizes, including a Free Full-Service Car Wash From Capitol Car Wash, Free Memberships for Sam’s Club of Princeton, Free Apple Cider Donuts from Terhune Orchards, and even a $100 American Express Gift Card!

You can also win gift cards for Houlihan’s PJ’s Pancake House, Enzo’s La Piccola Cucina, RedBerry Frozen Yogurt and Smoothie Bar and other great locations. To see the full list of Launch-A-Bronc’s sponsors and prizes, click here. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Get ready to get “clucked up” on Thursday, November 10 at The Rider Student Top Chef: Cluck U Finale at Daly Dining Hall from 4:30-6:30 p.m. In order to vote for your favorite finalist’s dish, just text the name of the Rider chef that make your favorite chicken-related cuisine. Click here to see the full list of recipes submitted to us, and click here to see the complete list of rules. Come on down for a clucking good time!

As for providing live music and broadcasts, on November 5, we will be at the Family Weekend Lunch playing music and giving out prizes with Bronc Plinko from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and we will be doing the same on November 12 during the Nearly Naked Mile event at the Campus Mall starting at 4:30 p.m. Finally, on November 18, we will be playing music and bringing Bronc Plinko to Lighting of The Library starting at 6:30 p.m.

That’s all for now, so be sure keep listening in on the radio or via our mobile apps, and be sure to follow us on social media.
