For the past month, 107.7 The Bronc has been looking through all of the great original chicken recipes we received so we could find the top student chef on campus. Now, 107.7 The Bronc has plucked out the best recipes to be presented at Rider largest cook-off.

Congratulations to Hayley Vassilijev for becoming Rider Student Top Chef: Cluck U Champion with her Nickey’s Chickeys! 

Our runner-ups are Kathryn Weniger (2nd Place) with her Chicken With Garlic and Shallots and Leah Thomas’ Sizzling Sassy Wings (3rd Place).

The Rider Student Top Chef: Cluck U Finale will take place at Daly Dining Hall from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 10. All you have to do is enter Daly Dining Hall, sample the finalists’ food, and vote for your favorite one by by texting the name of the Rider chef who created your favorite chicken entrée.

Whichever student chef receives the most votes by the end of the event will be crowned the Rider Student Top Chef: Cluck-U Champion. Along with that title, the winner will receive a 55″ Vizio HDTV from Sam’s Club of Princeton, a Private VIP Bowling Party for 30 at Colonial Bowling & Entertainment/Doc’s Bar & Grill, and will have their recipe added as a special menu item in PJ’s Pancake House in Princeton. Other prizes include savings memberships for Sam’s Club, $200 in Bronc Bucks from Rider Dining Services, and gift cards for Gretalia Hospitality Group restaurants as well as Colonial Bowling & Entertainment/Doc’s Bar & Grill.
