Enter by land, cook it from the sea! The theme for this year’s culinary competition comes to us from the briney deep: seafood!
From salmon to sea bass, shellfish to mollusks, it’s your job to captain an original, sea worthy dish that will hook everybody on campus.
Everyone who entered Rider Student Top Chef: Fresh Catch will receive a pair of tickets to the East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals on Friday, December 1 at 7 p.m. at the CURE Insurance Arena.
The top three recipes will compete in The Rider Student Top Chef: Fresh Catch Finale Wednesday, November 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Daly Dining Hall. Rider students and staff will cast their vote via text for the recipe they want to harpoon.
The top steward with the winning recipe will discover this sunken treasure: a 55″ Vizio HDTV, a Cruiser bicycle, $200 in Bronc Bucks, $100 Tanning Zone gift card, their recipe featured on the menu at PJ’s Pancake House and more.
