The first week of summer is coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean 107.7 The Bronc is going on vacation. We will be keeping busy this summer with new music and fun summer activities. Here’s what’s happening in the next two weeks!
Yesterday, 107.7 The Bronc won the award for Best College Radio Station in New Jersey for 2016 by the New Jersey Broadcaster’s Association! This is a huge milestone for us, and we like to thank the NJBA for the award, as well as our listeners and sponsors for all the support. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Now onto the events! Returning to Lawrenceville on July 1st is the Annual Independence Day Celebration! It will take place on the Rider University campus, and The Bronc will be there to add to the fun once again. The celebration will start with a concert starting at 7:30 PM, and the fireworks will begin at approximately 9:40 PM. You can listen in on-air, through www.1077thebronc.com, or by using our WRRC 1 or WRRC 2 apps on your smart phone! For more information, you can call the Lawrence Township Recreational Department at 609-844-7065.
Our next big event will be The Perfect Sunday Afternoon on July 10th, from Noon to 5 PM at Delorenzo’s Pizza, 147 Sloan Avenue, Hamilton NJ! 107.7 The Bronc is teaming up with TOPAC (The Overdose Prevention Agency Corporation) and the Manning Family to bring the community together with unlimited pizza, drinks, salad and dessert, along with live musical performances from Gene Boccia, Ernie White, Bob Bandiera, Lisa Bouchelle, and more! This event sponsored by Delorenzo’s Pizza is going to bring people together to support those who are currently struggling with addiction. All proceeds will help further TOPAC’s goal in preventing opioid overdose deaths. Call 609-581-0600 to register, and for more information, visit overdosepreventionagency.com/events.
