The Bronc has been looking high and low for the best original Italian recipes worthy of the boot itself! Now we have chosen three recipes that will make your taste buds scream, “Delizioso!”

Congratulations to Salman Khalid for becoming Rider Student Top Chef: Little Italy Champion with his Penne Vodka with Chicken and Asparagus! Salman’s dish will be available at PJ’s Pancake House from December 1 to December 31, 2018

Our runner ups are Eyal Kleiman (2nd Place) with his Gnocci with Bacon and Peas  and Anthony Gambardella with his Cavatelli with Broccoli and Sausage (3rd Place).

These three students have been chosen to compete in the Rider Student Top Chef: Little Italy Finale Thursday, November 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Daly Dining Hall.

Make sure you and your amici visit Daly’s to sample our students’ culinary creations and cast your vote by texting the name of the Rider student chef who crafted your favorite Italian dish! Don’t forget to wash all that down with samples of these new products provided by Pepsi: 20oz Gatorade Zero, Starbucks Ice Latte, and Mountain Dew Ice Cherry

The student that receives the most votes by the end of the competition on Thursday, November 15 will be crowned the Rider Student Top Chef: Little Italy champion. This years top chef will receive a 55″ xfinity HDTV, two concert tickets to see Slightly Stoopid, a year’s free tanning courtesy of The Tanning Zone in Hamilton and Ewing, $150 in Bronc Bucks courtesy of Rider Eats by Gourmet Dining and the chance to have their recipe featured on the menu at PJ’s Pancake House!
