Trenton Freedom Broadcast Team

Mike Samsel is in his second year as a member of the Trenton Freedom broadcast team and in his first season as the team’s play-by-play announcer. Mike is the lead play-by-play announcer at West Chester University and has called several state championship games in New Jersey on 107.7 as a part of the WBCB Sports Network. Mike can also be seen on SFBN Talks High School Sports on the Comcast Network as a co-host and feature reporter. Mike is a 2006 graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and has worn several hats throughout his broadcasting career. Mike’s full-time job is the Production Director of 1520 WCHE in West Chester.

Mike, known for his high energy style, along with analyst Sean Lerman are sure to provide an entertaining broadcast throughout the 2015 Freedom season.

Sean is the color commentator for the Trenton Freedom for the 2015 season. He started his broadcasting career by getting a degree in Telecommunications from Bloomsburg University. After graduation, he started working at 1490 WBCB as a news anchor and play-by-play announcer. He also serves as the Sports Director at WBCB. Sean has called numerous sporting events across all levels of competition. He is excited to be part of this season’s Trenton Freedom broadcast team along with Mike Samsel on 107.7 The Bronc!
