On March 14, 2020 the National Broadcasting Society awarded 107.7 The Bronc its award for Best Audio Station Imaging for a General Sweep produced by Collin Cortright ’21

On March 14, 2020 the National Broadcasting Society awarded 107.7 The Bronc its award for Best Audio Station Promo for Gunnar Productions, Ben Campbell ’22 and Tiffani Britton ’22, and The Bronc’s Listen Live promo, Tiffani Britton ’22 and Rob Brown ’22.
2019 Marconi Award Nominee For Best College Radio Station of the Year
This nomination is the granddaddy of them all and we hope to take home the Marconi Award for Best College Radio Station of the Year at the 2019 National Association of Broadcaster’s Radio Show, September 24 – 26, 2019 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX. Cross your fingers!

On March 9, 2019 The National Broadcasting Society awarded 107.7 The Bronc its award for Best Radio Station Website. 1077TheBronc.com was maintained by Matt Mysholowsky ’19.
2019 NBS AERho Award Winner – Best Station Imaging (The Tanning Zone)
On March 9, 2019 The National Broadcasting Society also awarded 107.7 The Bronc an award for Best Station Imaging for our “Tanning Zone Official Sweep.” This creative piece of imaging was created by Robert Negoescu ’19 and Jared Theinert ’20.

On March 3, 2018 The National Broadcasting Society awarded 107.7 The Bronc it’s award for Best Audio News Segment for our good news segment, “Bronc News Round-Up.” The weekly segment was written and produced by Justin Giachetti ’17 and Steven Stein ’18.
2018 NBS AERho Award Winner – Best Audio Promo (Scream Screen 2 Promo)
On March 3, 2018 The National Broadcasting Society also awarded 107.7 The Bronc an award for Best Audio Promo for our “Scream Screen 2” promotional announcement. The promo was written and produced by Steven Stein ’18 and Sarah Walsh ’18.
2017 CUPRAP Silver CUPPIE Award Winner – Special Event Promotion (Scream Screen II)
107.7 The Bronc received a Silver CUPPIE Award for Special Event Promotion for Scream Screen II. This award was all thanks to the hard work and effort put forward by the 107.7 The Bronc student executive and promotional staff for creating a monstrous drive-in movie event and trunk-or-treat experience.
2016 Winner – Best College Radio Station in New Jersey by the New Jersey Broadcaster’s Association
On June 23, 2016 107.7 The Bronc received the award for the Best College Radio Station in the state at the 69th Annual NJBA Conference and Gala. For us, this was a huge milestone and the first award of its kind won by WRRC-FM in the station’s history. It was all due to our staff’s dedication and hard work.
2016 NBS AERho Award Winner – Best Audio Commercial (Animal Hospital of Kingston and Blawenburg Spot)
On March 16, 2016 The National Broadcasting Society awarded 107.7 The Bronc its annual award for Best Audio Commercial for our “Animal Hospital of Kingston and Blawenburg” commercial announcement. This audio message was written and produced by Matthew St. Onge, Andrew Zayicek ’18, Haley Vassiljev ’18, Isabella Azar ’17, and Matthew McGrorty ’16.
2016 NBS AERho Award Winner – Best Audio Station Imaging (Double Shot Sweep)
107.7 The Bronc was not only the winner for Best Audio Commercial, but also for Best Audio Station Imaging with our “McGuinn’s Place Double Shot Sweep.” The students taking this award home were Matthew St. Onge and Isabella Azar ’17.
Named 2015, 15th Best College Radio Station in the Nation by The Princeton Review
For the first time ever, 107.7 The Bronc made the Top 20. In August 2015 we got the phone call that we were rated the 15th Best College Radio Station in the Nation along with some of the most prominent college radio station currently on-air and online. We’re not done yet! The Bronc student executive staff is strive to be higher on that list in the near future.
2015 Finalist – Best College Radio Station in New Jersey by the New Jersey Broadcaster’s Association
On June 18, 2015, 107.7 The Bronc was named a finalist for Best Student College Radio Station in the state of New Jersey at the 68th Annual NJBA Conference and Gala in Atlantic City, NJ. Being a finalist has only made us want to be the best college radio station in the state even more!
